Medicare Planning

Have you been confused about all the choices in Medicare? Have you tried to understand differences between Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D plans and got totally lost? Have you been inundated with all kinds of mailings from different companies and became completely frustrated? You are not alone! Hundreds of people who’re turning 65 and even the ones who already have Medicare feel the same way.
My wish is that our Government puts together a very good educational program and has its agents provide educational seminars all over the Country. But that’s not the world we live in. A lot of times, providing education to Medicare eligible people falls on the shoulders of insurance agents.
The question is which agent do you choose? Is it a captive agent of a specific insurance company or an independent agent that is licensed with many different companies? The answer is it depends on who you feel most comfortable with. However, the difference is that captive agents only represent that one company and may not be able to provide an objective advice. Moreover, some companies may only offer limited types of products.
As an independent Medicare-licensed agency, we realized that the first thing to do is to educate people through educational seminars. We conduct them for free in various locations in Martin and St. Lucie counties several times each month. During these seminars, we teach about Medicare Part A & B, Prescription Drug Plans – Part D, and who needs to enroll in these programs, how to do it and when. We discuss differences between Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement plans and why everyone should at least consider having one in addition to Medicare Part A & B. We do it without mentioning any companies’ names or their products. Our seminars are different because they are NOT sales seminars and we do not try to sell anything. If you’re interested in attending, please click HERE to go the seminars website and register.
In addition to the seminars, we also meet with Medicare eligible people in our office in Stuart, FL. Our goal during these meetings is to educate and show customized solutions based on individuals’ specific situations. Should people choose to enroll in Medicare health plans with our help, we become their agent. That means that at any time if our clients have any questions or concerns, they can contact our agency and we’ll do everything in our power to fix the problems. Additionally, we meet with our clients every year during the Annual Election Period (AEP) to re-evaluate their plans, and see how they’ve been working for them. If our clients’ health situations change, we recommend making appropriate adjustments. To schedule a complimentary appointment, please call us at (772) 775-7761 / (703) 304-1982 - cell
P.S. If you’re a new resident of Martin or St. Lucie county and on a Medicare health plan, you may have to update or even change it. Call our agency to see how we can help.
